Welcome! Thank you for your interest in our small herd of Nubian Goats. Although we have been raising and showing dogs for over 30 years, our venture into the wonderful world of goats is not quite four years old. The lessons we brought from the dog world as we began our goat journey include: Start with the best bloodlines you can find and nothing that is worth anything happens easily or quickly! So far those lessons have served us well, and the journey has been wonderful. This web page is a work in progress. Many of the photos at the moment feature unclipped goats and not all have udders for you to view. As the show season comes about, along with babies and udders, we will update our pictures. Our herd is raised on strict CAE prevention. Babies are removed from their mothers at birth and raised on pasteurized milk. The whole herd is tested annually for CAE. To date, all mature animals have tested negative. We also participate in Linear Appraisal and DHIR. We require a $50
deposit to hold each kid, with a written request of choice(s). If your choice of
kid (buck or doe) is not born, the deposit can be transferred to another choice,
held over for next year, or refunded. Kids must be picked up at the farm or
shipped at four to six weeks of age and the balance is due at the time of pick
up or before shipping. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs and
health papers. I will ship out of Thank you again for
your interest in Blu-Line Nubians. If
you have any further questions, please feel free to call or e-mail us at Blubart@comcast.net
